Oil leak found on the top of the engine?

I found some oil at the top of the engine. It is on one of the plastic cylinder covers. The oil is coated all over what seems to be a sparkplug or some sensor. Should I be concerned? I will post a picture soon.

Here are the pictures. This is the only thing I see covered in oil.

If my 2018 ford explorer xlt I just purchased about 2 weeks and if the car gives me problems I just do my best until I go back to the toyotas highlander I had my from 2008 until this year of January 28 0f 2023 but to I m not happy my car didn't not came with a engine cover to so I m not happy so that's see a few years from now until 2028 than I m going to change my mind to back to the toyotas thanks
 






I cannot see your pics for some reason. From what your saying sounds like your valve cover gaskets are leaking oil. You have the main rectangle shaped gasket for the valve cover, then within each valve cover you have 3 spark plug bung seals & 2 vct seals on each cover. So you have a total of 12 valve cover seals that need to be replaced if your doing both valve covers plus the intake manifold gasket because that has to come off to get to the rear valve cover. While your in there I would replace the spark plugs too for peace of mind. This is on the N/A 3.5 motor
