When accelerating up hills or putting the explorer under allot of strain I hear some rattling coming from what seems to be the top of the engine. I first thought it was a loose PCV valve so after I replaced it, the noise was still there. I think that the noise is coming from the Fuel Injector just because of the location of the noise (upper top left/center of the engine). It’s not a knocking and/or pinging noise. I know what that sounds like. I’ve had some people look at it and they think its the injector but want lotsa dou$h to fix it/look at it. It does not hinder my performance at all. Its just annoying and more so worrisome that my engine is making a noise other than vroom vroom. Does anyone have a clue what it might be? Thanks.
