I just drove a 1500 mile round trip. When I would stop for gas I would always check my oil. Anyway, I noticed the dip stick felt cool to the touch. I was expecting it to be hot like it usually is. I could put the tip of the dip stick with oil between my bare fingers and the oil was cool. I've never had any vehicle do this before, the oil is usually very hot. My driving speed was constantly between 75 and 80 mph so I was expecting hot oil.
Anyone have any ideas why the oil stayed so cool?
