Oily intake manifold...?

is there a way to add a oil seperator or a catch can inline with the pcv system, like between it and the intake? would that help any?

I just dumped about 3 oz of oil/liquid out of my homemade pcv catch can. That was 2000 miles of blow-by.

Quick question...the separator goes between the pcv valve and the valve cover, right? 4.0 OHV

i noticed in another thread that you used seafoam in your engine.. was this before, during, or after the oil in the intake problem? if you seafoamed after this, did it help the oil problem any? just curious.

It was before and after...I only used one can each time, a 1/3 of a can at a time.

The Ford TSB goes after the carbon knock MUCH more aggressively.

I showed my brother my intake...he feels the amount of oil residual I have is normal, actually.

FourO...yeah, I figure that this mod could only help with keeping my pinging issue from coming back as well.
