ok this coming sunday i have quite a lil task i pretty much have a single day to strip as many parts as possible off a 91 xlt i am going to be using the parts for my 94 xlt(i am really considering pulling the engine) but in case i cant pull the engine what else besides the following would any one suggest, ok i was thinking::

alternator * just to have*

power steering pump *needed* lines on mine have leaked so pump is probably damaged right???

radiator* alot of bugs hit mine*

front grill * just to have expensive from ford!!

bumper* needed

hood* needed

but how about any of the under components?? i was think about taking the converters off the old xlt and striiping them and putting them on my 94 xlt for the boost but they are welded right?? anything on the inside as well?? well i will be attacking this on sunday so any info by saturday afternnon will be taking into consideration and i will report my stats on monday thanks

Hell, pull everything you see! And about taking the cats and stripping them, you might as well just buy a high flow cat off eBay for $50 bucks. Good luck with the project.

what about the tranny? Hell i'd pull the engine and tranny both if you are getting it for a really really good deal :D

aren't the cat. converters welded onto the pipes???

and if i had the room to store the trans then i would deffinitly take that as well

Take everthing but the frame! You'll eventually use all of it. :hammer:

stuff your pockets with nuts, bolts, screws and clips.
You will never have too much extra hardware

LOL with all these parts we've mentioned...might as well tow the whole truck home :D

If they're 4x4, get the transfer case shift motor
