I took the X to the car wash and used the engine sprayer on the wand wash. I barely used it on the engine and then put the hood down and away I went. Half way home the engine would not go past about 3300-3500PRM's even when I put the pedle to the floor. Any ideas I let it run for 1 hour to warm up the engine, Heater under the hood all night and now MAF sensor is in the house to warm up. I'll put it back in tomorrow and try it but I dont trust it will work.

Anyone else have any ideas before I have it towed to Ford and pay out the nose for them to figure it out?

The thing starts fine and has power untill 3300rpm then it will not go higher. Also no codes are coming up and the system check is showing its all fine.

Help I'm loosing my mind.

Sounds like you sucked water into your intake. This happened to me last week. It'd start off driving fine and then bog down all of the sudden. It comes and goes. My air filter was soaked and I had a puddle of water in it. I replaced the air filter, cleaned out all the water, and dryed out the MAF and it was fine after that.

I hope thats it. I have a cold air intake and I have the cone in the house since last night along with the MAF sensor. I'll put it back on today and see if that helps. I have a guy that wants to but it and he says as soon as I solve the problem he pay me. So yeah I need to get it going asap.
