Ok think i found out what i am goijng to do for my X

I guess i will open savings account and save for about 1 1/2 years then get a 91-92 X i think. I am 16 and a junior so i am going to college soon and when that comes i will most likely be poor. I just wish i could put mods on the X i am driving now........sucks being 16

it sounds like a good plan. you can get a really nice 92 4X4 for around $3000.

Sophomore year is pretty mean, too. Rent sucks : ) It's not too bad though, I've got some mod's coming up, just be sure to work and save over the summer, it helps a bunch. And whatever you do, DON'T GET ANY CREDIT CARDS. Oi, I can't stress that one enough. I'm not above it, I have a couple and too much debt. So, there's my advice. Good luck with the purchase...I think you'll be really happy.

In my opinion get a 4 door. I've always had 2 door suv's and I love em, but it's great having extra room for friends and junk. You sound like you have a good plan going, keep it up.

Definately go with the 4-door, I love being able to cart people around, and fold down the back seat for a lot of storage room.

i got a my 95 X for college reasons... decent gas mileage as far as a ford SUV goes... the 4doors does mean a lot and when u lay the back seat down... theres enough room to easily hide a case of beer between the front and rear seats... but shhhhh... dont tell mommy... haha... freshman year is a blast and ive had no regrets on getting my X... none at all.... espescially since i can set the cruise at 100mph and be home in now time (dont tell the rents bout that one either)... i think ull love one if u get it... unfortunately im broke as well... its amazing how much money u spend in college, i dont even know where half of it goes...

Well rightn ow i have a 95 4 door and i am planning on getting a 4 door 4x4 91-91 X. I really want a standard but i will just play it by ear. My parents say they are going to pay for college....HAHAHAH just a year though.. see they will pay for my freshman year so i wont have to work so they think i will jsut study alot (cough cough no) anyways after fresh year they will make me get a job and pay too. I dont have a problem with a job but damn all the money will go to college thats what pisses me off
