Hey thanks for the comments everyone. Yeah it has the TT. I just replaced the sway bar link kits because mine were pretty shot so that's why they look different.
Okay, as for the list of things you are going to need to change if you are going to switch from an automatic to a manual. These are in no order, just what i think of along the way here:
-Starter
-the thin plate that bolts between the motor and tranny
-flywheel (bolts were the same on my year, if you buy a used flywheel, get it turned)
-clutch set of course (disc, Pressure plate, throw out bearing)
-also pick up a pilot bearing if you don't by a new flywheel
-computer is different but i'm still using my old one
-if you get the right year tranny then you should be able to use your old wiring harness for the reverse lights etc.
-tranny mount is the same
-shifter
-shifter boot
-bolt that holds shifter to the tranny
-plate that the shifter boot bolts to that goes under the carpet(you could cut a hole in your old one i guess)
-clutch petal assembly
-master cylinder, remember to bench bleed it before you install it
-slave cylinder
-hydralic hose
-starter switch that mounts on the clutch petal, also have to get a little kit from ford for that part number is
E8TZ-7L518-A
-going to have to get rid of your gear selector letters on your dash board, i just covered mine up with electrical tape
-extension housing for your transfer case is different also
-go ahead and buy a lock cylinder for a manual and have a lock smith key it to your key
-the top plastic peace of the steering column
-small metric bolts that bolt the pressure plate to the flywheel
Well, i think thats all that i can think of right now. Let me know if anyone is going to try this, i can give them a few tricks! The job isn't so hard, it's just time consuming. Hope this helps! Good luck
Happy trailes!
