Old engine/undercarraige parts, where do I start?

Hello,

I've had my ford explorer for about a year now (and I absolutely love it)



But, my problem is that it it has an extremely old and used engine, about 130k+ miles on it and the under carraige is pretty rusty, the interior looks almost brand new, same with the exterior, except for a few rust spots and a dented bumper from nailing a couple of unfortunate deer!

I recently bought myself a set of four 33''x12.5'' tires and I'm going to be getting a 4-6 inch lift to help with my passion of off roading..

My real question would be:

I want to replace the engine with a new or almost new one with a far more powerful one (The one I currently have is a 4.0 v6) I wouldent mind going up to a v8. Does anyone possibly know anything that I can put in it for some power/speed? Even a link will help out!

I'll also take suggestions on other power building parts, such as gearboxes, intakes, anything! I need to get this thing moving!
