Old friend with new questions: alternator, another battery, new amp...

You know I look at your system, the original poster, and if all you have is one alpine v-12 amp that is rated around 240 watts and your having electrical difficulties, thats sad. I have about 1500 watts running through 2 1508q's with no upgrades to the eletrical system what so ever, i also have a 1 farad cap but so do you. I have had just minimal light dimming when I have the thing going full blast.

dude, kevin,

you're tha man. i just won an auction for a 1200W JBL amp, I am so stoked bro....

I cant wait to start hittin like you do...

I think he's having difficulties cause his amp is drawing power at a load, the amp cannot support.
those jbl amps are good, and you can get em pretty cheap....

O ok, i was wondering because 240 watts is not anything extreme and I was just shocked he was having problems.

the amp i have now is pushing a 4 ohm load, i have 1ohm dvcs wired in series for 2 ohms... not the best way to run it... but the jbl will be perfect

have any of you upgraded your alternator? im wondering if theres anything i should know...?

Thanks
MAtt
