Been looking for a new X since my 98 was starting to let me down on a regular basis. Was gonna shackle/tt the thing and go wheeling on the weekends but then the thermostat went, then it was a misfire. After that I realized that the '98 wasn't gonna cut it. Also it still had a horrible "whomp"-ing noise from the front end. The guy I traded it in to said it was probly the front axle. That's where I found this black beauty.

I have 1 question though. My oil pressure guage is a bit buggy. It was going ape **** on my way home from the lot but then it cleared up. Now this morning when I started the X it wasn't working at all. Can someone point me in the right direction on how to fix this?

NEW:
1999 X Sport.
4.0L SOHC V6 (Major upgrade)

The oil pressure sending unit. I had the same problem when it is cold outside it will take a minute to go to its usual position. I pulled the connector and clean the connection and it works fine.

What does the unit look like, where is it loacated and what's the easiest way to access it? My buddy borrowed my Haynes manual last week and didn't come into town this weekend. He has a leaky trans cooler.
