Taking a little break from the lift work. Got a good bit of the front disassembled. But its freakin hot out:

Thats in the shade too, My X is out in the sun, its close to a hundred out there.

Just curious if there are any major weaknesses on the older superlift brackets that I should strengthen *before* they break. Its an unused kit, but its probably 5 years old, its got to be old cause its got yellow paint...

I know the coils are probably the ranger coils, but what about this stuff:

Anything I should brace or weld?

Thanks

can anyone confirm if the passenger side axle pivot drop bracket (big plate in second picture) is the old style that will crack the pumpkin, or is it the updated style?

Thanks

Well it looks just like mine and the Skyjacker one we just installed on NAK4AF's Ex.

I don't see how it will crack the diff?? Never heard of this?? My diff is fine

well thats good. I've just been reading all this stuff about the axle pivot drop bracket breaking stuff because it wasn't curved enough in the old versions. Do the other brackets look the same too?
Thanks

Well they all look like NAK4AAF's Skyjacker brackets. The radius arm drop brackets also. I have the extended radius arms and for some reason my radius arm drop bracket is different.

Edit: here is a pic of mine
