Looks to me the bracket you are trying to put on is too close to the pig. You sure you installed the brakets in the right holes? If the bracket is in the wrong holes (which it looks like to me) then that will defentaly throw it off. Maybe post some more pictures from a diffrent angle and show the brackets a bit better so we can get a better look. Just some random thoughts. I have never installed a lift before, but from the pictures these are my thoughts.
