I just installed 31's and I'm running the 3.73LS Rear, how much will they affect my gas mileage and also how much will my speedo be off?
I took a day trip to the mountains last weekend to try the new tires and it seemed to do ok on gas but then yesterday I pulled a trailer loaded with pallets (heavy load) and it sucked the tank dry. Should I be looking at regearing or reprograming or both?
Sorry no pics of tires yet but they are 31x10.5 15R Maxxis Bighorns. I finally decided on these after much research and a great deal from a buddy that has a shop, paid final price of $504
. They are a great mud tire with about 2" deep tread and have the tread wrapping around to the sidewalls, which was what I wanted to protect the sides when crawling over rocks.
