On/Off Rocker switch found in engine compartment, what is it?

Wondering if they could be using it for testing of something, since it looks like a relay behind it?

circuit test switch. should fit into a spot in the power distribution panel when you remove a relay. used to test circuits to eliminate the relay as a variable. I have one somewhere in my electrical tools. I also have a pigtail to go with mine that can go between distribution box and switch. hope this helps

So, more than likely it was left when they were fixing my fog lights? Thanks
 






Nothing like that would have come from the factory. So your guess is as good as anyone's.
 






That's a relay bypass switch, the right way to do a jumper in the relay box basically, used in diagnosis a lot.
 












You got a free switch to test your relays then!
 






That he did, if he doesn't want it, I know someone who would gladly take it off his hands ;)
