OK, I have searched this for awhile now, and I still can't find any info on it. So does anybody on here have a steering stabilizer on their X? Does it help at all? I was considering getting one for my X because the steering has been really loose, so I was just gonna see if any of you had an opinion on if this would help and, if it would, which one to get and where to get it. Thanks

I run with one on mine and really like it. Takes the jerks out of steering tight turns, and helps in the ruts. I believe my 92 handles much better with it and is easier to drive on the highway too.

I don't do rocks, mainly because there aren't any here. I have heard that real men don't use them, but then the last real man was John Wayne, and he died.

I've got one on mine too.

It helps with highway driving but I like it for when I'm Bajain' across the desert. I mainly keep it on for the baja.:) I'm not to sure about the rocks. If your really wheelin I would think you wouldn't notice it there or not.

If I remember right, I was told that they were designed to help you with "bump-steer." I could be wrong. Mine just came with the susp. lift and I through it on and like it.

I bought a dual kit from 4wheelparts made by ProComp and after many hours on the phone found out that they dont make them for the 91-94 X's well actually the correct brackets so I made my own brackets for one and still have to make the other one, but I could tell the differnce right away and it is great!!!! Just dont by the ProComp get the Rancho's!!!!

I Have one on my '91 from Rancho. Definitely worth getting. I'm assuming Rancho doesn't make one for '91 anymore. I got mine nearly 5 years ago. Try contacting Rancho. I recently talked to them about upgrading my RS 5000 to RS 9000 and they would do it through the original dealer I purchased it from as a warranty exchange. I would just need to pay the difference. They also okayed the replacement of the shock on my stabilizer for no cost. Great company. Recently added Rancho's add a leaf for about a two inch rear lift and no harsh ride. Hope this helps!

Thanks for all the help everyone! So, do any of you know where to get the Rancho, or how much it is? Thanks!

I have a dual stabilizer kit sitting right here made by skyjacker. It has all the hardware, nuts and bolts you need. All you have to do is supply the stabilizers. It's taking up space here, so if you want to pay for shipping, you can have it. It's only about 5 pounds. I run 33's on my 94 4 door and love having duals. It helps out on the highway to keep it stable.

Okay, I am pretty interested, except how or where could I just buy the stabilizers, and how much are they? Thanks

Try emailing them at this address and let them know your situation. RanchoExtremeTeam@tenneco-automotive.com I'm sure they can help you find a place near you to purchase what you need. Hope this helps.
