One more 1998 radio ?

Thank you Jesus for this forum which I've come to depend on.
To the question. I've looked thru a lot of post about radio's, stereo's and such . My daughters 98 radio has a blank display and I want to up grade to a bluetooth cd/ radio. Her old radio p/n F87F-18C868CC uses two plugs on the bottom. It has some prongs in the upper left as you look at it. Nothing in the
blank marked"amplifier". There is no subwoofer in the back like her old 1992. It does have a lot of bass though. Its does have a button marked "RDS", something I can't find anything about. If I buy a headunit with no sub port is the radio going to have the same amout of bass as the present radio or am I going to have use an add on poweramp or sub ?

You might have the factory amp, but no sub. This was the case with my Sport. When I installed my head unit, I used the Premium sound system adapter from circuit city. As for the bass, you can probably get the same if not more bass out of the new unit. I did a few reviews on wiring harnesses, you can find them on the homepage. HTH
