One more inch

I want to level the back of my X up with the front. I already did the shackles but I am still a little low. Is it possible to slide a 1" piece of steel under the leaf springs over the axle to give it the extra lift. I'm sure it is the same as an add a leaf, but I only need an inch at most. What are your opinions?

The block won't work, take a look at your axle. Your best bet is a single add-a-leaf.

How much lift would a single AAL give me?

Cake. If you did your own shackles.. this is about 8% harder. Only five more bolts to take out.

EDIT: 6 bolts.
