apparently the last post was "moved", so i'll try one more time.

Does anybody know why wipers only work in "high" speed? Installed new multifunction switch, but still have same problem.

Thanks for any help!

yea, i'm the one broke down on side of road with no wipers! lol. And beeing that it rains every f-ing day down here, its good to have them working.

Yeah man! Just do like 3 coats of rain-x while you wait!
Good luck.

I have a '97 and it is showing signs of this. What is the fix if it isn't the Multifuntion switch? Can't be the motor. Anyone knows where the relay for this is located?

From looking at the schematic, I would check out your wiper Hi/Lo relay which is in the Power Distribution Box under the hood. If this relay was stuck, it would cause the motor to be in high speed all of the time.

its not stuck on "high", its just the only speed that will work. But thanks, i'll check out that relay in the distribution box.

Well...i checked the distribtion box and didnt see any wiper relay. Beeing that mine is a first gen, could it be somewhere else? That would kind of piss me off if all it was was a $5 relay, after spending $100 on that multi function switch! But i would be happy just to get them working again.
