This is what I have right now. First push unlocks the driver door. Second push unlocks the passenger door. I think I need a third push to unlock the rear doors. How do I change all this to a single push to open all doors?

Are you talking about your remote or the door lock button next to the window buttons?

On my '98 XLT one push unlocks driver and two unlocks all doors. That is the normal function. Maybe check fuses and/or wiring for passenger doors? Perhaps >both< lock actuators are out? Did this just start happening, or did one go out then the other?

This is what I have now. No complaints. Everything works per spec. What I want is for a SINGLE push to open ALL doors.

nope. it doesn't work that way.

Get yourself an aftermarket alarm or remote starter for a few hundred bucks and have them wire the unlock signal to the door lock switch.

People are really getting lazy these days...

Everybody knows this is not the most strenuous exercise you do in a day. I am simply trying to take advantage of a possible feature. I did it with my Dakota. It was simply a reprograming of the remote. Looks like it is not available. Oh well, I guess I have to push the remote a second time.

Tough life!
