My hat is off to all you guys who take the time to post so much excellent info on this forum. Your advice and help on the OOM12 was right on target. I had planned to carry my '99 XLT to the dealer a couple weeks back when I found this forum. You said OOM12 so I went to the dealer parts and purchased the kit. Today (MOnday 21st) I installed the parts in just over 2 hours. My XLT runs like new now. I don't know how much the bill would have been at the dealer but I'm sure it would have been much more than the $46 I paid for the kit. :D

Thanks again,

Tim

What did the kit include?

OOM12 kit

This kit contains the lower intake manifold o-rings, the upper manifold o-rings, and the left cam chain tensioner. It is not the cassettes etc.

COngrats Tim, well done, and thanks for coming back and letting us know. Stay around on this board.... lots of great people here.
