The kit is primarily to address start up rattle by way of the updated tensioner with oil reservoir and the oilway restrictor pencil. The upper and lower o rings are in the kit as good practice to replace when the intake is removed.

If you already have the updated tensioner then you will just require the upper and (more probably) the lower o rings.
Bad timing for you as i had some spares that i sold to another member for £15 posted a few months ago

well the rattle is more pronounced when cold but i need to sort the poor cold idle as it's a pain the mornings... once warm it idles beautifully...

So an oom12 can't hurt, right??

As Jan said, the main reason for the kit is to quieten the chain rattle from start up. I had the bad cold idle issue on mine about 7 years ago. After changing the inlet manifold gaskets, it was fantastic to have a steady idle from cold.
At the moment, mine has a flat spot on heavy exceleration. So I've got some more new gaskets, from Rockauto. It seems that our fuel sytem has a few weakness starting right back at the fuel cap. I've just fitted a new cap as my other one broke, and I'm also having a look at the fuel filler neck again as I had to repair it last year with fibreglass due to corrosion.
I've also just got an injection pressure tester, to see if there are any leaks and check the pump pressure.

Rear tensioners are readily available in the uk, according to watsontv on eBay, the front and rear tensioners are identical, but from previous experience, they are different, at least in appearance. The oom12 kit will cure rough idle when cold due to the new gaskets, and as stated above, whilst replacing the front tensioner, it's good practice to replace the gaskets at the same time, hence my need for a kit, not just part of it. I only need the tensioner, as my idle is spot on, but won't do tensioner without new gaskets.

Unless I'm blind I can't see the extension tube going from the nut on the head as Jano suggested making me think I have the original setup, so it'll all need doing together..

Well put me down for a kit and fixing if anyone has access to a supplier.. Gotta be done, mind u... need the handbrake shoes doing before April and MOT-time.... Think thats the only obvious FAIL...

Yeah, my handbrake is a failure too, think its just one of those things with an auto, the handbrake doesn't get used. I'm hoping to get time tomorrow to adjust it up, see if that works, if not, it'll be some new shoes.

On the plus side, I got some more niggles sorted today, found my front driving light problem, when I unscrewed the lense to check the bulb, the entire thing crumbled! Good old rust, so it had no earth connection. half hour later, some new lights fitted and working a treat.
My new LED recovery beacons got fitted to front grille and back ledge inside window (took some work to get wiring up to front!)
Even managed to rebuild my self levelling compressor, which also now works a treat!
