opinion on Phoenix Gold?

i met a guy who says he can sell me phoenix gold 12" subs for $120 a peice. are phoenix golds decent subs? and is that a good price?

I think Phoenix sound damn good. I know there amps rock. They are usually pricey though so i've never actually owned any but have heard friends. I think it is a decent price if they aren't too old.

phoenix gold is a great company. good subs and amps. what model are the subs? i know they also make an entry level line that is pretty cheap.

im not sure what modle they are. the guy said they were "good quality"
and they arnt old. they are still in the box. i think this years model. he said they are normally like 250 a sub.
