I have a first generation 4 wheel drive with a three inch suspension lift, my question is this.. With the wheels turned in a little, I have about three inches from corner of tire to back of fenderwell. What I want are 17 inch stonecrushers with either 31 or 32 inch nitto tires. The stock tire is 29 inches tall, a 32 would only be 1 1/2 bigger in diameter, leaving me with 1 1/2 inches from tire to fenderwell. What do you think, I do not wheel that often, but when I do I do not want problems. This based on a 17x8 wheel, and 32x10.50x17 tire.

Will most likely fit well, especially since you're going with thinner tires. Might have some minor problems with suspension compression, but nothing major.

Thanks for the response, I think it will work well for now anyway, I want to stick with the 32's, but will eventually go to a skyjacker class two 4 inch lift, I might put longer bump stops to keep wheel out of fender too.

i am running a first generation also but i'm running 31-10.50-15 with no lift and i don't realy rub at all. so an inch bigger with 3in. of lift should be ok.
