I'm looking to replace my RF wheel hub, and was going to go with Rockauto.com, but when I looked at autozone here in town, they had them in stock, for $24 cheaper, without freight costs.

My question is, have many people used the Autozone (Timken) units with a good success rate?

I've always regarded Timken bearings as being quality units, and am assuming these would be the same.

The only downfall I see is that it only has a 1 year warranty, I have no idea what the warranty is on the Rockauto unit.

Also, after reading most of the posts on hub replacement, no one seems to replace the knuckle seal, is this a defacto standard?

Thanks for the opinions!

Purchased one from Autozone about a year ago. No problems so far.

Best price I could find at the time.

I put a new Autozone (Timken) on the RF about a month or so ago. Seems OK so far. Doesn't Timken make the OEM's too? Just got another one for the left side.

I took a good look at the seal and concluded that it was important for it not to be left off, and that the old one would be OK after a cleaning and some grease.

Timkin is American made. I did mine last year. Cost $180 from autozone. They have some on ebay for $95 but since I don't know anything about them decided on the timkin.
