Also, how'd you run the wiring up into the dash?

any way you can. use a coat hanger or a fish tape to snake from the vent down towards the windshield. at some point you can find an opening to get a wire through. flipping the glove box all the way out on the passenger side helps. popping off the fuse panel door helps on the driver side. this will allow you to see possible cracks or openings

I would love to see pics of the tweets in the defrost vents. I saw those there and wondered if it could be done and how it would sound. You say it sounds much better, so I'm gonna take your word. I talked to the guy who will be instaling the components, and he told me that the best place to put the tweeter is in the A-piller, my only concern is the drilling involved to fit the tweeter in there. What is my best bet? Let him hack away at my new baby or have no defrost to my doors, and block the vents?
