Big OOOPSSS..but in reviewing my purchases, I think I gave the shop the OHC headset, which was installed on an OHV 94.

Not sure if we did, but I am guessing at this point that is what we did.
The guy who did the heads said they matched up, but I cannot find where I bought OHV
headset.

I found where I bought two sets of head gaskets both for the 97-01 nothing for the 94.

This is what we installed, I will have the shop pull the heads tomorrow

ohv and ohc gasket sets are different enough that they wouldn't fit, the part number is for an OHV set,,

when I run this number Evergreen FSHB8-20301 Full Gasket Set

The page says it does not fit the 94 oHV engine, I cannot find a cross reference to see if we put the wrong head gaskets on this engine....

I'm going to have the shop pull the heads, locally I will buy a set of head gasket set to make damn sure I get the right ones this time.

Yikes
What are the symptoms you are having after the head gasket job?
OHV (pushrod) 4.0 Was built from 1990-2000

building pressure pretty fast, nothing other than that. I put a pressure tester on it, pumped it up to 15, started the motor, it held.
It has aftermarket 200 mile Prostar heads on it.

It just acts like, but I cannot see evidence, that there is an internet leak into the block, the plugs are dry. Starts fine, just seems like it is building pressure fast. Nothing more than that...I might be over-reacting
