Opps! Now how do I get them out of there...

...the CDs, I mean. I left the stock 6 disk changer on over night and the battery got completely drained. After jummping, I hit the CD button and got the "No Disk" error. When I hit the eject button to try and take the cartridge out, it just gives a slight whine and then stops.

Can someone tell me how to fix this, or at least get my Perry Como and Burl Ives CDs out? Thanks in advance.

Let the battery get recharged and try again. Hopefully it didn't get so hot that it burnt out the motor. Otherwise, a screwdriver might be your only hope.

i dont have a stock one, but my brother had the same problem with his and there turned out to be a reset button somewhere. maybe that will help. i'm guessing the player doesnt operate either?

i had the same problem, but only cus a penny fell through inbetween the changer itself and the sleeve that holds the cds. i had to unscrew the whole changer, and take the damm thing apart cus i didnt know how else to do it.. hope u can find an easier solution

A simliar thing happened to me. When my headunit was installed, I removed the 6 disc changer and left the cartridge full of CDs in there (doh). I had to fully disassemble the changer to get them out.

- Correct, the changer does not work.
- The battery was charged the next moring.
- I looked for a reset with out taking the unit out, but didn't find one. Any hints on where to look if I am successful in taking the unit out?
- Thanks for the help. Too bad I'm not exactly mechanically inclined where electroincs are concerned. I have a feeling this one is going to end up costing me some money.

i say get cracking with a 12v test battery... and start jumping wires...... or bust out ye ole screwdriver and have at it......
