For an OHV, I'd say single 2.25" or 2.5". There's not much difference between the 2, but 2.5 will give you more hp, less tq; and 2.25 will give you a bit more tq, less hp. The differences are fairly negligable though. Even with my s/c, I'm still running a 2.25" tailpipe.
