ok so how do i measure how big of a lift i have.....or figure out how big of shocks i need...i want to make my suspension softer.....so what do i need to do. to accomplish this.

measure the shocks you have on there.... id guess that thats the size you need.

go to a 4x4 store or similar and look through the shock books (dont ask the guys, do it yourself) and find a shock that matches or is close to those measurements. See if its a rear application, see if it has bushings at both ends.

A rancho 9000 would be what your looking for, but it isnt cheap.

In all honesty, you have the same suspension as many if not all of the explorer owners with the superlift 5.5" kit. I had it for a while, just deal with it. Its not worth trying to make your lifted early 90's SUV ride like a modern sedan. Spend the money on other things.

well i hope its the 5.5 some one else told me it was a 6 but i dont know i didnt think super lift made a 6 for mine.

its 5.5 or 6, whatever you want to call it. The .5" dosent mean a damn. All the rear lift is is something called an SOA, your just remounthing the leaf springs ontop of the axle instead of underneath, the stock location. It gives 5.5 or 6" of lift but like I said, no one can tell the difference between .5" of lift.
