does the first gen ex have an orifice valve in the a/c system?
if so where is it located, and do i need to replace it?

thanks in advance.

Yes it has one. Its in that long staight part of the line that is part of the condensor on the passenger side of the engine compartment.

As for replacing, they dont go bad on their own. They will get plugged up but then that means that you have crap in your system and possibly black death ( search for that, lots of info).

If your asking if you change it while your fixing your ac, persoanly I would change it to a variable oriface tube which will help a first gen ac system that is running on r134.
