Our opponents are at it again, trying to undo the hard work of our OHV congressional champions. The Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance (SUWA) is asking their supporters to call in to their congressionals to oppose Rep.
Hansen’s San Rafael Swell bill, which would protect historic OHV access to the area.

Please get involved and call your congressionals IN SUPPORT of this bill. Let them know you want it kept In! OHV access needs your support. Without it, folks like SUWA will take away our riding areas one by one.

The following is the SUWA alert, included so that you can better understand the threat of this action. At the bottom of the SUWA alert is the number for the congressional switchboard. We’re counting on you to make the OHV voice be heard!

Rep. Jim Hansen just stuck the San Rafael Swell bill into the Interior Appropriations bill as a last-minute rider, and the bill could come to a vote at any time today or tomorrow!

PLEASE CALL YOUR SENATOR/REPRESENTATIVE RIGHT AWAY if your State appears on the list of conferees (below) -- these Congress members must hear from you today, Tuesday, as soon as possible! If your State is not on this list, please call the White House instead (see item 2).

Ask them to REMOVE THE SAN RAFAEL NCA RIDER FROM INTERIOR APPROPRIATIONS because it fails to protect wilderness in the Swell, lets ORVs run rampant in our wild roadless lands, and chops off wilderness with an arbitrary boundary.
This rider must be taken out to protect the Swell's wilderness from ORVs!
