We are trying to fix transmission/trasfer/clutch prblem we have. No gears when cluth is let out.. essentially spinning in neutral... plz read thread below for more info...

http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=115713

We need to see if anyone knows where there is an online resource for an IPB (illustrated parts breakdow) for the clutch/tranny and the hydraulic clutch system and the transmission that would show the clutch, master cylinder, throwout and slave cylinder so we can figure out what the heck is wrong.... really still at a loss and trying to figure ot out so we can get back on the road....

Just sittin here dead in the water.....

We really appreciate any help.

from what ive read so far sounds like you have a transfer case problem becouse of this line...........Shifted into 4wd and everything went into neutral. Already tried pulling off the shift motor of back of transfer case and moving spline manually thru 2wd 4wd... no help....... sounds like the t case is where i would start pull the t case and verify that the tranny is not moving at all i bet it is and the t case is where the problem lies

This truck just had a brand new clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, slave cylinder etc etc.... and..... they all were trashed... I didnt even think that they could be the problem this soon after they were replaced... but bad they were.... the clutch plate disintegrated... than God it did it on the pressure plate side so it didnt destroy the flywheel....

We r back on the road !!!!!!!!!!!!... and big surprise the clutch is better than it ever was... thats what you get for letting someone else work on your truck.... ALWAYS do it yourself.... we did this time....

thanks for the help to everyone who tried..

Big D
