I broke the rear mounting bracket for my overhead console during the removal, replacement, removal procedure to fix the map lights ( http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=92660&highlight=map+light ).
It went back on but was hanging down about ½ inch at the rear ( where it mates with the moon roof molding.
Ford ( Ford Parts Network as well as several local dealers ) was unable to even come up with a part number for the bracket.
I had to find a used overhead console to just scavenge the mounting bracket.
It turned out that Ronnie (BBQ_HotDogs) had the console that I needed. I purchased it from him ( http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?p=961808#post961808 ).
I attached the bracket to my overhead console and it works great.
