Overhead console in '94

It explains how to put an overhead console from a '98 Explorer in a Ranger. Is it possible to put that in an earlier Explorer? It seems to fit in a Ranger, so I don't see why not, but I thought I would check first before I went tearing things up. Thanks.

I recently installed an overhead console in my 1993 Sport. I pulled down the head liner to check to see if the correct holes were up there so I could install the mount, and indeed they were..

Got the console, mounted it, wired it.. and wa-la.

I am going to make a write up as soon as my digital camera comes.
