Overhead console install with full wiring harness?

Where does the wiring for an overhead console plug in that has the full wiring harness all the way to the plug? Someone said something about it plugging into the fuse box? And would an X that didn't come stock with the console still have the plug-in for one?

If your X did not come with an overhead console stock, then you dont have a harness in ur truck for it. You have to wire it up yourself.

No I mean I have found a overhead console that includes the full wiring harness for the overhead console. Are you saying that since it's not stock in my X it doesn't include the proper hookup for that harness?

Check behind the fuse box inside your X. Look for a black plug rectangular in shape. It may be hard to find. Also look behind your front bumper, right by the driver's side frame rail, for a plug with a plastic thing plugged into it . That will be your dummy sensor. If you need pic's I will take some.
