overheating

i rebuilt my 93' from pistons up due to blown head....
evrything up is new everything gaskets injectors...
had a cooling prob thought i fixed it
i installed new water pump new radiator, new hoses,
new heater core, new electric fan, was good for a few weeks now overheating again,...HELP! any input .. greatful ahead of time.

I was also going to suggest the thermostat. What temperature thermostat do you have in there? I see that you installed an electric fan. Does it have a shroud to direct the air against the engine? What temperature do you have it set on? Maybe the temperature setting is too high.

Also, did you install new head bolts or reuse the old ones. I believe you have to use new ones to ensure they torque properly.

Auto or manual trans???

Someone once mentioned that the radiator on the factory standard trans model was, "not up to the task". He suggested that a radiator from an auto equipped vehicle be used (larger capacity).

Just wondering..............since you mentioned that you installed an new elec fan..............so, is it rated for enough cfms? And is it mounted as a pusher or puller, wired correctly??..............and, correctly mounted??

I had an issue of finding an E-fan with enough CFM to cool my 94.
I removed the E-fan and put the mechanical one back in and have had no issues at cooling.
