Does anyone here have any experience with the Ox locker by Oxtrax?
I've read up on them at their website, and at pirate4x4. i was just wanting some more personal experiences from the xplorer folks.
At the moment its available for the dana44. 699.99 for the locker and 89 bucks for the cable kit from offroad wherehouse. At the moment, the dana 60 is still in production.
I just want an alternitive to arb. The oxlocker seems the way to go.

Randall (Mudd*****) has one that he's gonna put in with his solid axle swap. I looked at it and it looks like a high-quality unit. The control lever is really cool, and you get a new diff cover also :)

Ask him about it.

I have an oxlocker installed in an HP D44. It looks killer. As soon as I get the axle installed and running I will give you a full report. But it definately seems like a stout unit.

Sounds good. I figure one up front in my hp44 and one in my full floating 60 will be killer.

I met a guy with one in his D-44 and he liked it a lot. He hadn't had any problems with it.

I worked on a Chrokee the other day (put new axles in it) that had an OX in the front. The thing looks bullet proof and according to the owner it works awesome. The only thing I could see problem wise with one is making sure the cable is routed where it can't get snagged or pinched.
