Hi all, I intend to replace both upstream O2 sensors in my truck (98 SOHC, 130K miles). I occasionally get slow response faults, and figured it was a good time to replace both of them ($60 from Rockauto.com).
Yesterday, I crawled under the truck just to get an idea of where they were located. Removing them should be fairly easy with a cheater bar. The pass. side is a little tougher to get to, but still seems doable. The truck was still hot, so I couldn't poke around too much, but what about the connector. Is it easy to get it off? Disconnect from under the vehicle? Seems so. It also seems like you have to do it blind, at least without jacking it up.
Any comments??
