Hello all ,
I have a 99 explorer 5.0 that had a check engine light indicating a bad oxygen sensor. I ordered all 4. Had to take out passenger seat and middle console to get to 3 of the conectors. Replaced them with the new ones. This took some effort and blood to get to the sensors with a wrench. Started the truck to take it for a test drive. This is where the issue started. Put the truck in drive and hit the gas and the engine spit and sputtrred and would not move forward but a few inches no matter how far i pushed the gas pedal. Truck drove well before the sensor change. I tried an idle relearn by starting truck, putting on ac and placing truck in drive while sitting for a few minutes. This did no good. Does anybody have any ideas. This took a lot of time and really need to get up and running.
