Anybody replaced their front end with the pst stuff. I just got the full front end kit in the other day. Looks like good stuff, and better be for the $ paid. Just waitn for the snow to go away. Can't wait to stop all the rattles, tracking and what not. Not sure about the lower a arm bushings. Might have a shop press them.

i havent but you sure should do a write up on the build =p

update...hrs. of hammering and looking back at this site for procedures and I have the front suspension completely removed. pst ball joints seem to be of good quality. kit didn't come with inner tie rods, got moog ones from amazon for $60. taking the lower controll arms to have new poly bushings pressed in. otherwise have done the job all by self and with no special tools.

So...so far my kit had one wrong lca bushing, a torn tie rod boot, and missing sway bar bushings. Is it too much to ask to get the right stuff. Shop is charging $80 for pressing in and out lower bushings. I just found out that the driver's side upper I have already put back on comes with the rubber bushings installed, and you have to remove those and put the poly in.???? why make this so difficult. So I guess I have to shell out more to press the uppers. going back in with the moog aligment/shim kit and already had installed rancho rs5000's all around. Still trying to find some material to go back on the torsion keys.

Wow, $80 to press the bushings in?

yes sir. said it was harder than expected. they had to remove old and press new.

Of course it's harder then expected, thats why youre paying someone to do it hehe.

yep. I took a long look at the bushings, even tried the burn out trick, but figured I would leave it to the pro. By the way anyone have luck with getting just the front sway bar from explorer express? Price?

so...what's the stock front ride height? I am looking at 32" ground to center of wheel well arch. Looks low to me. No more saggy rear though. Controll arm is 1/2" off bump stop on level ground. Is this correct? I had the bars off and didn't count the adj. screw turns. otherwise all is back together, ride is tight and quiet. Going to get the E.E. sway bars soon but with the poly bushings on the stock bar I don't think I will see much difference. No sqeaks. cost me $140 labor for the poly swap + $460 for the kit and $50 for the moog alignment bolts and cams.
