- 2004 Explorer XLT 4WD 4.0
Hi all. New to an Explorer, and to the group. I have a 2004 Explorer XLT, 4WD, 4.0 with 120K.
I had the check engine light come on a few days ago. Checked levels and gauges, all was good. Figured it was an O2 sensor. Got it read at Auto Zone last night and got the P0128 code. Fluid levels are good, and I haven't done any work to it, so I'm guessing that it's not air in the system. Heat hasn't been super hot, but still decent. I'm going to try to replace the thermostat. Does anyone know how hard this is to do?
In addition, after the guy read it last night, my radio now is botched up. The front speakers don't work at all, and the rear speakers sound muffled. Any ideas on what may have caused this or how to correct it?
Thank you in advance for any help/answers!!
