I took my job1 01 ST to the mechanic where I purchased the vehicle from (small mom and pop shop) because I got a CEL p0171. I had noticed the vac line on the drivers side of the intake had sucked itself together and figured he'd replace the pcv and the hose.
Instead, he said the drivers hose wasn't needed, plugged it off and ran the passenger side of the intake into the pcv only. I think he basically didn't want to fiddle with making the T fit, etc and just chucked it.
We, four days later, I now have the p0171 code again with a pending p0174. Surprise surprise.
I give up on that guy and will just do it myself. I need a T - does anyone have the right part numbers and what ID vac hose do I need? Will this likely fix my problem?
