I recently had code P0442 show up.
(The P0442 code stands for “Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (Small Leak).”)
A quick inspection of the hoses finds one coming off the purge valve had rubbed on the steering shaft.
Has anyone replaced this hose before? What did you use?
This engine was swapped by a shop from my wrecked Ex into the current one. It looks like they used tape to seal this onto a metal tube from one end. Hose does not look new.
