p0745 code

i know this code points to the solenoid.
this is the only code i have and i have the 5R55S transmission which replaced the 5R55W transmission.
i know about the TSB whch everyone automatically will try and post BUT
that TSB is for the W transmission and 2 Codes.

so let me just say i have the 5R55S transmission and the only code is P0745

is it the solenoid which i can replace or the servos/solenoid and the bands all together?...

i would like to hear a statement like 9 times out of 10 it is the solenoid and be a true statement

any help would be appreciated.

i only state my transmission being a 5r55s is because the TR code on the door says V is this code wrong?

Well i guess i'm going to bite the bullet, i just ordered a solenoid body and a filter kit.
i will flush - change solenoid - see if it works, i only have the 2nd to 3rd gear problem with a p0745 code, if i see something else like a lot of metal on the magnet, it will be time for a rebuild.....
