Hi,
I was hoping someone could share info on the possible cause/s for a P1153 trouble code (Bank 2 Fuel Control Shifted Lean FAOSC ). My EEC is also coming up with a 2nd DTC...P1309 (Misfire Detect Disabled).
My research has so far led me to a possible CMP (camshaft position sensor) problem for the p1309, but I cannot find anything on the p1153.
I also am trying to find which bank is bank 2 on my 5.0 liter v8. I suspect it's the left hand side but I'm hoping someone could verify.
Thanks for all your help. I'm hoping to keep my AWD v8 Mountaineer going for more than it's present 166k miles. I'm also overdue for an emissions test so...
