I'm still in Dale. We can convoy down if you want. Meet you at the store at 8:30?

8:30 at Campbell Valley Store sounds good.

Have you invited EBSteve and Matt??

Cheers
Dale

I dunno who EBSteve is, but Matt (nobody) is going to try and make it. still isnt sure at this moment.

Ryan, be here at 9:00 am or a little earlier and ready to go. I talked to my section leader and should be able to slip out a little early. I am already gassed and packed so I should be home about 8:30 to finish up. See you Sunday.

sounds good.
i'll be driving the chevy luv, will be packing an ice chest of beer and a video camera.
parking the chevy in front of your house might bring your homes value down though :(

There is a parking lot at the end of the culdesac I live on but as far as bringing the property value down I think I already did that with the stripped Mazda Navajo in the driveway.

Looks like I'm not going to make this one. I haven't had time to make repairs yet. Hopefully I'll be able to make it up there for a trip some time soon.

Rodney

So, its looking like 4 vehicles for sure. Kevin, Mat, Paul and Dale.
See you all in the morning!

Lets not do the bbq after. Lets have a really good one in the summer.

I'm bringing a couple of other guys too. Steve with a '93 Ranger and Adam with a Toy pickup.

What a fun Run!

That was a really good day out and nothing broke. Here is a ling to the pics that I have. Some of them came out kind of dark so if you can save them you can lighten them up with the brightness on any photo program. I will do that one day that I am bored and re upload them.

Wow! I can't believe it!

After three years worth of false starts we finally had a PNW Explorer run. :D

I had a great time guys! I few bumps and dings but nothing that won't polish out!

Let's do it again sometime.

Cheers
Dale

I hope to have my X make a run in the near future. That was a fun trail. Thanks to Kevin for letting me ride along.
Oh ya, on the ride home, Kevin and I started to brainstorm about what to do with my x. What we came up with is a 3/4ton Explorer! Putting my x body on a f250 frame, with a 300 straight 6 backed by a 205, d44 front, d60 rear.

Ryan I'm worried about you

Were you trying to pee on my bumper?

No
I was the reason you didnt roll into the rock anymore!!!
your tire kept lifting way up, i was holding it down.

This is going to be a fun one Ryan. Trust me though, pull the body with as much intact as possible, set it on the frame, and take it one step at a time. There is nop way to plan it, just take thing apart and start putting them back together one step at a time.

I know. Its going to be a long, drawn out project. Hell, before I touch the explorer, i've got a ton of work to do. first thing on the list is to rebuild the straight 6, trans and axles.
What lockers go well with d44s and d60s? detroits? i'm NOT buying airlockers...i want to keep the cost under 5gs (not including tires and rims).

Even the full detroit lockers are in the $500 range. I would go with a selectable locker up front though just to ensure you don't have any steering bind or push when you don't want it.
