I'm getting my chrome cobra r's put on tomorrow and I'm sure I won't be able to stand looking at my rusty calipers and everything else you'll be able to see. I am thinking of having a friend powder coat them but I don't know if that's the best option. Has anybody done anything to theirs? Will I even be able to throw the calipers in the 400 degree oven to powdercoa them? Finally, how difficult is it to remove them? Thanks for the help

What color is your truck?? When I did my friends, I just cleaned up the calipers and surrounds parts a bit and sprayed everything white, even the rotor. Dont worry about it because when you brake, the friction burns off the paint. Oh yeah, it came out sweet.

thats a big hassle ... i would buy caliper paint . Alot cheaper , faster , and easier . Folia Tec makes the best they offer about 6 colors and it's about $50 ... I've also seen a more common brand at the parts stores in a spray can for around $12 . They are both made specifically for calipers ...Goodluck .

How does this paint hold up to the effects of braking?

Thanks....

I've used folia- tec brand , works great , had it on my integra for 2 years .. Since it's designed for brakes it's designed to hold up to the heat and all.......

Do they have a websire?

Where did you get the paint? What did it cost?

Thanks....

I believe it's foliatec.com it's a speciallty co. so you won't find it at your local chain stores check out your local Import shops they should have it .... $50 ...Rand
