About the bumper. BUt I'm also looking into a bumper cover. Say one from explorer express .
But right I'm not sure
Thanks guys for taking a look see

i painted all of the tan on my bumper black and it came out good, i'd say go for it (white in your case)

Looks Great! I might have to paint mine...it got kinda speckeled when a street painter drove by. It's kinda white, kinda yellow and kinda chrome:frustrate

Hey very nice, I've been thinking about painting my grill and chrome around lights, but havne't been sure. I'm definately going to paint the chrome part of my bumpers white, but I doin't know how to go about doing it? How do I rouhg it up, and what kind of primer and paint should I use??

Bumper Covers Available 91-94 at Explorer Express

We have this front bumper cover in stock for $229.95. It comes in a gray primer color ready for paint. If you choose to paint your chrome bumper you will want to use an "etching" primer. This will help the paint stick to a chrome bumper. Another option would be to find a bumper from a Sport or Ranger that is not chrome from a truck dismantler.

cool looking

bumper cover. But my bumper not all that str8 & true.
But I was still thinking of getting one from Explorer Express :)

well i decided to paint my grill, basically since i don't have a picture, just think everything except the chrome is gloss black. i think it came out really good. but it took SO much time just to tape and cover the chrome! it definitly dresses it up a lot, i reccommend doing it if you have some time on your hands.

that's what

I was going to do (some What ) I wanted to paint the chrome and paint the flat black white. But I tryed taping about 4 times and gave up and painted the whole thing white. Which I've always liked.

well for your second option, it came out good! i just about gave up on the tape as well too many times to count...

thanks

I think it looks some what like a sport truck now

here's some more pictures

My truck and it's little friend

Now i just hope i'll be able to tow it. it's a 16ft terry
about a 100K ago I towed a 16ft cudy cab with a 5.7L
But now my Explorer has 171K on it.

Do you have one for 95-97?

I am sorry to say there is no bumper cover available for the 95-97. I do not think there ever will be one. We paint out the chrome to match the body color. Our body shop uses an etching primer to help the paint adhere to the chrome. If it is done right it will last for a long time. It will not last forever, but it does look good. You could try to find a Saleen bumper cover, they are no longer produced and they fetch a pretty penny if you could find one on E-Bay. The only other option would be to convert to 99-01 style that is completely different. The Sport & Limited have a once piece style that is paintable.

The Explorer in the picture also has our X-Spec Air Dam & Grille.
