Painted grill pics (Eddie Bauer & Limited)

I was in the process of cleaning Dina's explorer when I decided to paint the grill like I did on my Limited. Just thought I would post as I know how we all love pictures.

Here is the Eddie Bauer after disassembly of the front end:

Next I cleaned the grill with a degreaser and dish soap:

The next step was to spray some primer and then the vinyl/plastic paint:

The paint matches alot better than this photo shows, but here it is installed on the Explorer:

And I am done:

Looks good, it matches the other trim. I painted mine silver. It matches the flares on my sport.

i grabed one from a newer explorer and put it in my dad's and painted it bright silver..look's like a aftermarket grill now
